It is one of our greatest wishes that the work we produce on stage inspires and encourages conversations that continue long after the final curtain call. We hope that our Audience Enrichment programs help begin some of those conversations.
Happy Hour
More fun for less, the 2nd Friday of each show, join us for discounts in the Producer’s Lounge from 6:30-7:30pm.
Surprise Night Saturday
Enjoy life’s little surprises. The 3rd Saturday evening of each show, we’ll have a fun event or activity for you to enjoy, and maybe even participate in. Don’t love surprises? Check back for details.
Post Show Discussions
Each play produced by Artists Repertory Theatre features several post-show discussions with the cast that allow the audience to express their own sentiments and ask questions of the actors. They are immediately following the first three Sunday matinees and the Wednesday matinee.
Panel Discussions
After every 4th Sunday matinee, we’ll host an expert who will respond to the major themes of the play. We encourage everyone to join the discussions. Check back for details on participants and topics.
Recommended Reading
Artists Rep is proud to begin a partnership with Multnomah County Library to provide recommended reading lists for our patrons. Librarians from the system have compiled lists inspired by our scripts. These titles should all be available in the Multnomah County Library System, or you can browse or purchase titles we think you’ll enjoy at Powell’s Books. (A portion of all sales originating from this link come back to Artists Rep!). Click here to read the recommended reading list.
Read/Watch/Talk Book Club
Our new partner librarians from Multnomah County Library have chosen books for us to read, informed by the scripts from this season. We will gather to talk about the book after the education panel after the 4th Sunday matinee. See the schedule of events below for the Book Club picks.
