Our programs help build healthy communities.

At Artists Repertory Theatre, we believe that every skill necessary to the creation of good theater is also necessary to the creation and maintenance of stable, healthy communities. For that reason we are committed to sharing our time, skills and artistic processes with students and organizations throughout the region. Educators can jumpstart creativity and collaboration in their classrooms through theater attendance, class assignments, artist visits, workshops and behind-the-scenes learning opportunities.

Bringing Students to ART
Student groups of 10 or more qualify for our student group rate of $16. Click here to read a description of each play and get our age range recommendations for each.  To book a student group, please contact Danielle Swan at 503-241-9807 ext 101 or dswan@artistsrep.org.

Educator Resource Kits
Educators receive an in-depth resource kit with background information about each show, plus classroom exercises and an Educator’s Pass that allows Educators to preview a performance before they bring their students to the show.  Click here to download the Educator Pass request form.

Actors to Go
Our traveling program, Actors to Go, brings our highly qualified teaching artists to schools and social service organizations in artistically isolated communities throughout Portland, rural Oregon and southwest Washington.

Post-Show and Panel Discussions
Each play produced by Artists Repertory Theatre features several post-show discussions with the cast that allow the audience to express their own sentiments and ask questions of the actors.
