Resident Scenic Designer

Jeff Seats has worked as a scenic designer, art director and set dresser for theatre, motion picture and commercial projects for nearly 30 years. His scenic designs for Artists Rep include Design For Living, Holidazed, All My Sons, Three Sisters, String of Pearls, The Seafarer, Holidazed, House and Garden, Vanya, Inspecting Carol, Metamorphoses, Theater District, Frozen, Bug, Enchanted April, Take Me Out, Blue/Orange, Humble Boy, Mrs. Bob Cratchit’s Wild Christmas Binge, Lobby Hero, The Drawer Boy, Appalachian Ebeneezer, Two Sisters and a Piano, and The Voice of the Prairie. Jeff has been resident scenic designer for both the Portland Civic Theatre and Portland Repertory Theatre. His work is also well known to audiences of Portland Actor’s Conservatory, Oregon Children’s Theatre, Northwest Children’s Theatre, Profile Theatre Project and Third Rail Repertory. In addition, he has received many awards and nominations for his work. During the past decade Jeff has provided art direction for television commercials, infomercials and photo shoots. Jeff has worked with Nike, OMSI, Portland Children’s Museum, Fujitsu, OPB and Solomon North America.
